Welcome to Riding Around The Globe!
“Be fearless in the pursuit of
what sets your soul on fire.”
So here I am, trying to figure out what it means to be fearless. In 2016, I graduated from university, packed all my belongings into a backpack, and bought a one way ticket to Europe. It’s been amazing. It’s been terrifying. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. You can currently find me in Belgium, sampling different beers and consuming more fries than I care to admit.. I created this blog to give you a first hand look into my travels, in hopes that by being transparent with my itineraries and experiences, you’ll feel inspired to get out there and explore this world too. In the words of one of my favorite bands “I got dreams that keep me up in the dead of night” and with this blog, we’re just getting started!
Since moving to Europe, I’ve been to a light festival in Lyon, skied in the Swiss Alps, drank Bordeaux while in Bordeaux, camped out in the Sahara desert, wandered the fairy tale streets of Colmar, explored libraries in Manchester that put Hogwarts to shame, maxed out my storage with tile pictures in Lisbon, celebrated NYE under the Eiffel Tower, hitch hiked to waterfalls in Morocco, sipped hot wine at the Christmas markets in Alsace, partied in a sea of red and white in Pamplona, made a wish at my first love lock bridge in Frankfurt, slept in an old prison cell in London, got soaked while chasing waterfalls in Iceland, saw the iconic canals of Bruges, journaled in the same cafe J.K Rowling wrote the Sorcerer’s Stone in Porto, and discovered what real ham tastes like in Le Pays Basque. Thinking about moving abroad? Want help planning a trip? Wondering where to go next? I’m your girl. Let me help you plan the trip you’ll be talking about for years to come.
